Suzy Freeman-Greene is a Melbourne writer and the Arts and Culture editor of The Conversation. Her essays, journalism, fiction and critical writing have been published widely in places such as Good Weekend, Meanjin, The Age, Island, the Australian magazine and Australian Book Review. From 2000-2015, she was an opinion columnist at The Age, where she has also worked as a features and news editor. She is working on a bigger writing project set on Heron Island.
