Sally Blundell is a freelance journalist and writer in Christchurch.

In 2009 she completed her PhD, ‘The Language of Silence: Speechlessness as a Response to Terror and Trauma in Contemporary Fiction’, at the University of Canterbury.

In 2008 her book, Look This Way: New Zealand writers on New Zealand artists (Auckland University Press), was short-listed for the New Zealand Book Awards.
