Margot Saville

Margot Saville graduated from Arts/Law at the University of Sydney. In 1985 she was admitted to practise as a solicitor and the following year joined Allen Allen & Hemsley as a junior solicitor. In 1987 she started a journalism cadetship at The Australian newspaper.

Over the past twenty years she has also worked at ABC Television, the Nine Network and the Sydney Morning Herald. She is now a freelance journalist.

In 2007 she wrote The Battle for Bennelong – the story of Maxine McKew’s succesful bid to take away John Howard’s seat.
