Kyrah Honner is a Birri Gubba and Luritja writer and editor based in Meanjin. She has been lucky enough to work with black&write!, University of Queensland Press and Griffith Review. Above all, Kyrah values the amplification of First Nations voices in writing. 

She was recently awarded runner-up for the 2025 Nakata Brophy Prize for Young Indigenous Writers.
