Elise Bohan is a senior research scholar at the University of Oxford’s Future of Humanity Institute. She holds a PhD in macrohistory and wrote the world’s first book-­length history of transhumanism as a doctoral student. Her debut book Future Superhuman: Our transhuman lives in a make-­or-­break century was published in 2022.
