Doug Hall

Doug Hall is the Australian Commissioner for the Australian exhibitions at the 53rd and 54th Venice Biennale in 2009 and 2011.

From 1987 until April 2007 he was director of the Queensland Art Gallery. He was awarded the Order of Australia and was made a Chevalier dan l’Ordre des Arts et Lettres by the Republic of France for his contribution to the arts.

He is completing a novel and currently writes essays and reviews.
