Alice Gorman is a senior lecturer in the Department of Archaeology at Flinders University. She is a member of the advisory panel for the Space Industry Association of Australia, and Chair of the South Australian chapter of the Australian Association of Consulting Archaeologists. Alice won the the Bragg UNSW Press Prize for Science Writing 2017 for 'Trace fossils: The silence of Ediacara, the shadow of uranium’, from Griffith Review 55: State of Hope, and her work has appeared in four editions of Best Australian Science Writing. She tweets as @drspacejunk and writes a blog called Space Age Archaeology.
