SMITH, Yasmin

Yasmin Smith is a poet, writer and editor of South Sea Islander, Kabi Kabi, Northern Cheyenne and English heritage. She was shortlisted for the Judith Wright Poetry Prize in 2020 and won the Gwen Harwood Poetry Prize in 2024. Her work has been published in Overland, Meanjin and Australian Poetry Journal, among others. In 2024 she was the recipient of the Varuna First Nations Flagship Fellowship.
