William Brandt has an MA in Creative Writing from Victoria University’s International Institute of Modern Letters.

His collection Alpha Male (Victoria University Press) won the Montana Award for Best First Book in 1999.

He has been published in New Zealand, the UK, Italy, Germany, France and the United States.

He teaches at the International Institute of Modern Letters.
