Tristan Hurree studies genetics at the University of Queensland, having graduated from St Joseph’s College, Gregory Terrace, in 2016. He particularly enjoys reading anything written by Stephen King or Gabriel García Márquez and has a small collection of stories in print and forthcoming.

Tristan is the winner of the State Library of Queensland’s 2019 Young Writers Award with ‘Paper lands’.
