Tony Wheeler

Travelling across Asia on the ‘hippie trail’ of the 1970s led Tony Wheeler and his wife Maureen to create Lonely Planet Publications.

Nearly 40 years later he’s still addicted to travel and is working on a follow up to Bad Lands, his travels along George W Bush’s ‘Axis of Evil’ and to other misguided nations.
