Omid Tofighian is assistant professor of English and comparative literature at the American University in Cairo and an adjunct lecturer in the School of the Arts & Media at the University of New South Wales. He is the author of Myth and Philosophy in Platonic Dialogues (Palgrave Macmillan, 2016) and translator of Behrouz Boochani’s No Friend but the Mountains: Writing From Manus Prison.
