Leah De Forest was born in Geelong and lives in Boston. Her fiction and essays have appeared in Ohio University’s Quarter After Eight, Bodega Magazine, LEON Literary Review, Monash University’s Verge, Fiction Writers Review, Overland, Kill Your Darlings, Eureka Street and The Canberra Times. Her work has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize, and her novel, Any Kind of Known Tomorrow, is forthcoming in 2026. She teaches fiction at the Harvard Extension School and is an editor at Bloom magazine.
