Katerina Cosgrove

Katerina Cosgrove was born in Sydney of Greek and Australian parentage. She completed a BA (Communications) at UTS and co-established cafes and bookshops for over a decade.

Her first novel The Glass Heart was published by HarperCollins (2000) in Aust/NZ and Greece. She has travelled to Armenia and the Middle East repeatedly to research her current novel, beginning work with an Australia Council grant and a residency in Ireland.

Katerina completed her DCA in 2003 with the aid of an Australian Postgraduate Award and then taught Writing at UTS.

Katerina’s current novel, Bone Ash Sky, is being published by Hardie Grant in Aust/NZ and the UK in 2013.
