James Halford

James Halford writes fiction and travel stories. Originally from Brisbane, he spent 2005 living in Beijing and travelling throughout China. One story written during this period, “Thoughts while night travelling”, won the 2006 Queensland State Library Young Writer´s Award.

Most of his work written abroad is scribbled on maps and the back of train tickets.
