James Brown’s latest poetry collection is Warm Auditorium (Victoria University Press, 2012).

He has been a finalist in the Montana New Zealand Book Awards three times.

He teaches the Poetry Writing workshop at the International Institute of Modern Letters at Victoria University and works as a writer at Te Papa, New Zealand’s national museum.
