Emily Floyd

Emily Floyd creates text-based sculptures and pedagogically inspired works that combine a strong focus on visual qualities with an interest in the legacies of modernism. Her work is in the permanent collections of the Museum of Contemporary Art Australia, the National Gallery of Victoria, the National Gallery of Australia, Queensland Art Gallery & Gallery of Modern Art, the Victoria and Albert Museum and the British Museum, among others. She is a senior lecturer at Monash Art Design & Architecture.
