Craig Sherborne

Craig Sherborne’s debut novel, The Amateur Science of Love, is being published by Text in June 2011.

His critically acclaimed memoir Hoi Polloi (Black Inc., 2005) was shortlisted for the Queensland and Victorian Premier’s Literary Awards and the follow-up, Muck (VUP, 2007), won the Queensland Premier’s Literary Award for Non-fiction.

He has also written two volumes of poetry, Bullion(Penguin, 1995) and Necessary Evil (Black Inc., 2005), and a verse drama, Look at Everything Twice for Me(Currency Press, 1999).

His journalism and poetry have appeared in most of Australia’s leading literary journals and anthologies. 
He lives in Melbourne.
