Chip Rolley is an editor and writer, with a special interest in literature and Chinese politics and culture.

His writing has appeared in Griffith REVIEW, The Wall Street Journal (Asia), The Sydney Morning Herald, The Australian, The Bulletin, Vogue (Australia), Rolling Stone(Australia), and others.

A former Vice president of Sydney PEN, he was also Chair of the International PEN Search Committee (member, ex officio, of the International PEN Board).

Born in El Paso, Texas, he now lives in Sydney, Australia.
