Biff Ward is the author of the literary memoir In My Mother’s Hands (Allen & Unwin, 2014), which was shortlisted for the 2015 NSW Premier’s Douglas Stewart Literary Prize for non-fiction and the 2016 WA Premier’s Prize for non-fiction, longlisted for the Stella Prize 2015, and won the 2014 Canberra Critic’s Circle Award for non-fiction. In 1984, her groundbreaking book Father-Daughter Rape (Women’s Press), one of the first in the world about child sexual abuse, was published in the UK and the US. She is currently finishing a memoir about the Vietnam War.
