Bernice Chauly

Bernice Chauly is the award-winning author of six books of poetry and prose, which include the acclaimed Growing Up With Ghosts (Matahari Books, 2011) and Onkalo (Math Paper Press, 2013). She is festival director of the George Town Literary Festival. Her novel Once We Were There (Epigram Books, 2017) begins during one of Malaysia’s most tumultuous periods, the Reformasi of 1998.
