Hinemoana Baker is a poet, sound enthusiast and teacher of creative writing.

She has produced several albums, published two collections of poetry and edited several anthologies of New Zealand writing, including Kaupapa: New Zealand Poets, World Issues (Wellington DRC, 2007).

She is the 2014 writer in residence at Victoria University of Wellington.
