Leigh Tabrett has been a senior public servant in education and the arts, and has served as an advisor to the Queensland and Commonwealth governments on both higher education and arts and cultural policy. 

She currently works as an executive coach and mentor, and continues to write and comment on cultural policy issues. 

Her platform paper, It’s culture, stupid!, was published by Currency House in 2013.
