Kate Larsen (she/her) is an arts, cultural and non-profit consultant and writer based on unceded Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung Country in Naarm/Melbourne. Kate is a former director of Writers Victoria, co-convenor of the Arts Industry Council of Victoria and CEO of Arts Access Australia. She’s currently leading a national conversation about governance reform based on the premise that (nearly) everything we think we know about boards and governance is wrong. Her work has been published in The Relationship is the Project (NewSouth, 2024), Griffith Review, Kill Your Darlings, Meanjin, Overland, Westerly and more.
