Haylee Escalante is completing her Masters of Writing, Editing and Publishing at UQ. Her novel in progress, Our Yesterday, was highly commended in the 2023 black&write! inaugural writing fellowship. Haylee is a writer of British, Wiradjuri and Indian heritage. She weaves her family stories and motherhood journey into her poetry and fiction works.
