Vidyan Ravinthiran is an associate professor of English literature at Harvard University. He’s the author of two books of verse: Grun-tu-molani (2014), which was shortlisted for several first collection awards, and The Million-Petalled Flower of Being Here (2019), which won a Northern Writers Award and was shortlisted for the Forward and the TS Eliot prizes. His first monograph, Elizabeth Bishop’s Prosaic (2015), won both the University English Prize and the Warren-Brooks Award for Outstanding Literary Criticism.
