Regina Ganter has just published Mixed Relations (University of Western Australia Press), a study of Asian/Aboriginal contacts in northern Australia.

For her earlier work, The Pearl-Shellers of Torres Strait (Melbourne University Press, 1994), she received the Australian Historical Association’s Australian history prize.

She is a senior lecturer in the school of arts, media and culture at Griffith University.
