Peter Spearritt is a former executive director of The Brisbane Institute.
His books include Sydney’s Century (University of NSW Press, 1999) and Holiday Business: Tourism in Australia since 1870 with Jim Davidson (Melbourne University Press, 2000). He has co-curated a number of exhibitions including Australians and the Monarchy, Powerhouse Museum, 1993, and The 200 Kilometre City, Museum of Brisbane, 2004-2005.
