He is the author of several books on Australian history, including 1787: The lost chapters of Australia’s beginnings (Hardie Grant, 2016), The Vandemonian War (Hardie Grant, 2017) and Under Fire: How Australia’s violent history led to gun control (Hardie Grant, 2020).
