Natalie D-Napoleon’s work has appeared in Meanjin, Australian Poetry Journal and Writer’s Digest, among others. She was awarded the Bruce Dawe Poetry Prize in 2018 and won the KSP Poetry Competition in 2019. Her debut poetry collection, First Blood, was published by Ginninderra Press in 2019. If There Is a Butterfly That Drinks Tears, her second collection, will appear through Life Before Man later in 2023.
