Maggie Walter

Dr Maggie Walter is Palawa and professor of sociology and pro vice-chancellor (Aboriginal research and leadership) at the University of Tasmania. She has an extensive theoretical and practical research background working with Indigenous statistics, Indigenous data and Indigenous quantitative methodologies. She was honoured to be a participant in the 2017 First Nations National Constitutional Convention at Uluru as a member of the Tasmanian contingent.
