Lesh Karan writes poetry and non-fiction prose. Her work has featured in Australian Multilingual Writing Project, Australian Poetry Journal, Best of Australian Poems 2022, Cordite, Island, Overland, Rabbit, Red Room Poetry and Strange Horizons, among others. In 2023, she won the Liquid Amber Poetry Prize and was shortlisted for the Judith Wright Poetry Prize.
