John Spoehr is strategic professor of industrial transformation and founding director of the Australian Industrial Transformation Institute based in the Flinders Business School at Flinders University. His recent books include State of South Australia: From Crisis to Prosperity? (2009), and The Engaging State: South Australia’s Engagement with the Asia–Pacific Region (2012), co-authored with Purnendra Jain, both published by Wakefield Press.
