Jill Barker

Jill Barker began writing after other studies in the fields of science and feminism, and a career as an exhibiting artist and lecturer in Visual Arts for QUT’s Creative Industries. She is finalising her story about Judge George Paul’s early insight that a Japanese home imported to Brisbane could be a source of design ideas for modern subtropical living, the subject of her 2019 MPhil in Creative Writing at University of Queensland.
