James Brown

James Brown is the author of Anzac’s Long Shadow: The Cost of Our National Obsession (Black Inc., 2014) and a former army officer who served in Iraq, Afghanistan and the Solomon Islands.

He now directs the Alliance 21 Program at the US Studies Centre, University of Sydney, is vice-president of the North Bondi RSL, and is an ambassador for Soldier On, a charity for wounded soldiers.
