Harry Ricketts teaches English literature and creative non-fiction at Victoria University of Wellington and co-edits the review quarterly New Zealand Books. He has published twenty-five books, including a biography of Kipling, a group biography of a dozen British World War I poets, personal essays and nine collections of poems.
