David Lambert is the inaugural professor of evolutionary biology at Griffith University and is a member of the Australian Research Centre for Human Evolution. His is a former distinguished professor at Massey University in New Zealand, principal investigator in the Allan Wilson Centre for Molecular Ecology and Evolution, and foundation professor in the New Zealand Institute for Advanced Study.
