Annee Lawrence is a writer and editor with a PhD in creative writing from the Writing and Society Research Centre, Western Sydney University (WSU).

She is an adjunct research fellow and casual tutor in the School of Humanities, WSU. Her cross-cultural novel, which is set in Indonesia and Australia, is yet to be published.

She has published articles in New Writing, Hecate and Cultural Studies Review.
