Where have all the ratbags gone?

Graeme Wood is a most unconventional businessmen. He made his fortune from an online travel venture, Wotif, but now gives his money away to causes he supports. As a passionate environmentalist, he has bankrolled the Australian Greens. As a philanthropist, he has funded the Guardian Australia newspaper, universities and indigenous groups. Wood is critical of consumerism, rampant growth and free trade.

In the 2015 Griffith Review Lecture, Graeme talks about his passion for the environment and why he fears for a planet destroyed by rampant consumerism. He believes if we want to create a sustainable, innovative future for Australia, then we need more 'ratbags'.
