Heather Kirkpatrick is a freelance journalist and outdoor instructor who enjoys writing, filming and broadcasting from remote wilderness locations including Antarctica, Siberia, the Andes, Karaokoram and Kazakstan's Tie Shan range.

Heather lives in the foothills of Mt Welltington in Hobart, Tasmania.
