Cassandra Atherton lectures in Romanticism and Creative Writing at the University of Melbourne. Her novel The Man Jar will be published by Printed Matter Press later this year. Her book of poetry, After Lolita, published by Ahadada Press, will be released in April 2010. She is currently editing in Australian poetry edition of the international journal Ekleksographia. Cassandra has also written a book Flashing Eyes and Floating Hair (Australian Scholarly Press, 2007) on Gwen Harwood's pseudonymous poetry and is currently writing a book on American public intellectuals based on her interviews with Noam Chomsky, Harold Bloom, Camille Paglia, Stephen Greenblatt and many more. |
